Do you take on existing applications?
Yes. A good share of our work starts with a codebase someone else wrote. Discovery covers reading the code and the infrastructure so we can be honest with you about what to keep, what to replace, and what it will cost either way.
How do you decide on the technology?
We default to Ruby on Rails and Ember.js because both are mature, well supported, and cheap to maintain over years. Where your needs point elsewhere, we say so during discovery rather than after the build.
Can you run the application once it is live?
We build the deployment and infrastructure as part of the project and can keep operating it afterwards. If you would rather run it yourself, we hand over infrastructure as code and the documentation to go with it.
